Description
What type of wine it is
The Bourgogne Pinot Noir from Maison Regnard is a still red wine that expresses the essence of Burgundy, produced from Pinot Noir grapes. In the glass, it presents as a bright ruby red with bluish highlights, while the aromatic profile is defined by small red fruits and spicy notes. On the palate, it is fresh and dynamic, with fine tannins, the result of vinification in stainless steel tanks that provides an elegant sip.
Where it comes from
This wine originates in Burgundy, France, coming from the territories of the Côte de Beaune and the Mâconnais. Maison Regnard, founded in 1860, is one of the historic establishments of the region, intimately linked to Clos du Pavillon. Managed by the De Ladoucette family since 1984, the winery operates with rigorous respect for the environment. Agricultural practices are based on a careful selection of bunches to faithfully reflect the peculiarities of the terroir. This attentive agricultural management is fundamental to ensuring the purest and most consistent expression of the grapes grown in this specific and renowned wine-growing area.
How it is produced
The production process begins with a manual harvest aimed at selecting the ideal bunches. In the cellar, the grapes undergo a slow alcoholic fermentation inside stainless steel containers. This oenological technique enhances the natural nuances of the grape variety, preserving its original aromatic definition and maximum gustatory clarity. Before bottling, fining is carried out, followed by a light filtration. This red has excellent longevity and can evolve in the bottle for ten to fifteen years. Decanting for about an hour before serving is recommended, ideal for accompanying mature cheeses, game, and pork.
