Description

What type of wine is it

The Bourgogne Pinot Noir by Agnès and Didier Dauvissat is a still red wine from the Burgundy controlled designation of origin. Produced from Pinot Noir grapes, it outlines an aromatic profile centred on hints of red fruits and typical forest floor notes. On the palate, it proves to be elegant and soft, supported by a well-balanced structure that leads towards a persistent and clean finish.

From this winery
  • Start up year: 1987
Founded in 1987, Domaine Dauvissat is located in Beine, near Chablis. All our vineyard plots have been planted by our family with Chardonnay grapes, on soils composed of clay-limestone marl and small fossilized oysters (Kimmeridgian). These unique features, combined with optimal sun exposure, give Chablis wines their distinctive and refined aromas, a true expression of the terroir. Read more

This elegant artisan Pinot Noir pairs perfectly with the prestigious white expressions from Domaine Dauvissat. Pairing this balanced red in a 75cl format with iconic Chablis, such as ‘The Character of the Orchard’, or the vibrancy of Crémant de Bourgogne, creates a refined tasting experience that celebrates the talent of this independent winemaker.
