Description
What kind of wine it is
The Champagne Cuvée L’Instant de Passions Rosé Extra Brut by Waris-Larmandier is a rosé sparkling wine created from a meticulous blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Produced in France, it is crafted using the Traditional Method, ensuring a fine perlage that enhances its liveliness. Visually, it stands out for its bright salmon pink colour, while the aromatic profile is fragrant, characterised by notes of biscuits and hints of dried fruit. On the palate, it reveals a pleasant freshness, displaying a creamy texture and a pronounced mineral imprint that prolongs its persistence.
Where it comes from
This wine originates from the commune of Avize, in the heart of the renowned Champagne region. Waris-Larmandier is a family-run estate now in its sixth generation, currently led by Marie-Hélène together with her children Jean-Philippe, Pierre-Louis, and Inès. The estate is distinguished by its meticulous care of the vineyards, integrating targeted biodynamic practices to protect the land. Thanks to the unique characteristics of the terroir, the sip offers remarkable precision of flavour. The solid structure gives this label a notable capacity for ageing over time.
How it is produced
Production is based on the strict application of the Traditional Method, essential for best enhancing the characteristics of the grape varieties. The process begins with a harmonious blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The choice of an Extra Brut dosage gives the glass a dry, clean, and linear profile. The slow ageing on the lees encourages the development of a fine and elegant perlage, able to caress the palate and amplify sensations of freshness, creaminess, and profound minerality.
