Description
What type of wine it is
Vincent Dancer's Chassagne-Montrachet is an organic white wine with a Burgundy designation of controlled origin that embodies the natural elegance of Chardonnay. In the glass, it presents a straw-yellow colour enhanced by bright golden reflections. The olfactory profile releases intense fruity aromas, which blend in perfect harmony with clear mineral notes. On the palate, it reveals itself as a juicy and persistent wine with a long finish, the result of vinification without filtration and 19 months of ageing.
Where it comes from
This viticultural expression is born in France, in the prestigious region of Burgundy. More precisely, the wine comes to life within the famous area of Chassagne-Montrachet, a zone that has always been dedicated to oenological excellence. The grapes come from vines over twenty years old, cultivated following strict organic principles to protect the environment. This choice terroir gives the wine its unmistakable and vibrant mineral identity.
How it is produced
The production process by Vincent Dancer is distinguished by a natural approach, based on meticulous vinification without filtration. This technical choice allows the essence of the fruit to be preserved intact. Subsequently, careful ageing for 19 months enriches the bouquet and consolidates the taste structure, providing a deep drinking continuity. The wine is ready to be tasted and requires no decanting time, immediately expressing all its vivacity.

The spring months were characterised by mild weather, with scarce rainfall and no thermal stress: this promoted good phytosanitary conditions for the grapes. At the end of May, there was a sudden drop in temperatures which caused no damage, but led to a slight slowdown in the plant's phenology and a higher percentage of unfertilised flowers. This physiological condition resulted in looser (i.e. less compact) and therefore healthier bunches. In July, temperatures were high, while August was cool with moderate rainfall: a varied thermal regime that ensures very interesting aromatic characteristics, rich in intensity and complexity. |
