Description

What type of wine it is

Timorasso Francesca by Vigne Marina Coppi is an organic white wine that expresses the authentic character of the Timorasso grape variety in the Colli Tortonesi denomination in Piedmont, obtained from a manual harvest. In the glass, it presents with a straw-yellow colour enriched by bright golden-green highlights. The aromatic profile opens with hints of lily of the valley, gooseberry, citron zest and wild herbs, closing with a clear mineral imprint reminiscent of river stones. The tasting is soft and harmonious, guided by a lively fruity freshness and a strong savoury progression that culminates in a persistent citrusy finish.

Where it comes from

The origin of this wine is in Piedmont, on the hills of the Colli Tortonesi. The Vigne Marina Coppi estate artisanally manages a small area of just four hectares of owned vineyards. This limited size allows for meticulous care of the plants, guaranteeing a limited annual production carefully supervised by the oenologist Gianfranco Cordero. The influence of the particular microclimate and the hilly soils is directly reflected in the glass, giving the sip its characteristic savoury tension and a clear floral and herbaceous tone.

How it is produced

The production process begins with a selective manual harvest, an essential step to keep the original quality and freshness of the clusters intact. The cellar processes aim for maximum aromatic clarity, balancing structural softness with the natural vigour of Timorasso. This scrupulous approach delivers a white wine with remarkable evolutionary potential over time.
