The Chardonnay is the soul of this Franciacorta Brut by Vezzoli, an organic sparkling wine with a fresh and savoury profile. Produced using the Traditional Method, it stands out for its intense straw-yellow colour and a fine and elegant perlage. On the nose, it reveals delicate floral notes, grapefruit zest, pineapple and coconut. On the palate, it is harmonious and fruity, with a finish characterised by fragrant hints of bread crust.

Where it comes from

This wine is born in Lombardy, in the municipality of Erbusco, in the heart of Franciacorta. The Vezzoli winery enhances an excellent terroir through organic agronomic management of the Chardonnay. This approach reflects respect for the soil, ensuring the glass has a marked savouriness and offering an authentic expression of the area's winemaking vocation.

How it is produced

Production strictly follows the steps of the Traditional Method. After the prise de mousse in the bottle, the wine undergoes 18 months of ageing on the lees, an essential practice to enrich its structure and aromatic complexity. With a residual sugar of 4.5 g/L and an acidity of 6.3 g/L, the excellent dry extract defines the balanced and enveloping profile of this label.

Our family has a winemaking tradition that has developed over a whole century for several generations and since 1994 produces Franciacorta in Erbusco.

We do it with care, passion and an eye to constant research, qualitative evolution and technological innovation.

The daily work of the company is handled personally by all the members of our family: Giuseppe, the "boss", with a practical and efficient soul; Maria, the "multitasking", constantly engaged between the cellar and the kitchen; Dario, "the king of the tractor", juggles especially in the more agricultural phases but, like the others, is an active component in every step; Jessica, "the precise one", monitors every stage of production.

Vezzoli Franciacorta Brut is a harmonious and savoury wine, ideal throughout the meal. Thanks to its fine and elegant perlage, it enhances starters, risottos and cheeses. Its delicate floral notes pair wonderfully with fish and shellfish dishes. To fully appreciate its qualities, it is recommended to serve it at a temperature of 6 - 8 °C.
