Description
What kind of wine it is
The Sauvignon Blanc Pannon from Tuzko Birtok is a still white wine produced in Hungary, in the Szekszárd/Tolna region, and vinified in stainless steel. In the glass, it displays a lively straw yellow colour with golden highlights, while the bouquet is distinguished by delicate notes of kiwi, green apple and elderflower. On the palate, it is crisp and exceptionally fresh, offering a sip in which the typical varietal aromas of Sauvignon Blanc emerge with absolute clarity. Its vibrant structure makes it ideal for pairing with light starters and dishes based on lean fish or vegetarian preparations.
Where it comes from
This wine originates in Hungary, among the hills of the Szekszárd and Tolna regions. The roots of its production lie in the territory of Mórágy, an area historically renowned for excellent viticulture. Here, the Tuzko Birtok estate operates in an environment with ideal climatic conditions, continuing an agricultural tradition dating back to 1799. The local soils allow the vines to achieve a distinct aromatic definition, ensuring a faithful and authentic expression of its place of origin.
How it is produced
The grape bunches are swiftly brought to the winery, where they are carefully selected, destemmed and gently pressed. The alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, lasting for about two weeks to preserve the integrity of the primary aromas. The wine then undergoes maturation in steel for several months, an essential step to stabilise the aromatic component and maintain a persistent freshness on the palate.
