Description
What kind of wine it is
Tormaresca Neprica Rosé is a still rosé wine that combines the qualities of Negroamaro, Primitivo and Fiano. Visually, it stands out for its elegant pale coral colour, reminiscent of the delicate shades of peach blossom. The aromatic profile is dominated by fragrant notes of yellow peach and apple, harmoniously intertwined with citrus hints of grapefruit and touches of jasmine and orange blossom. On the palate, it offers a soft entry, developing into a fresh and savoury sip, supported by a pleasant acidity that lends great drinkability.
Where it comes from
This blend originates in the heart of Apulia, in the Brindisi area, within the Salento peninsula. Its creation reflects the natural vocation of the region for native grape varieties, enhancing the character of Apulian viticulture. Produced by the Tormaresca winery, the wine embodies a stylistic expression focused on balance, offering a satisfying texture that elegantly accompanies seafood dishes, crispy fried fish and soft cheeses.
How it is produced
The vinification process begins with carefully destemmed grapes that are gently pressed. The resulting must is transferred to stainless steel tanks and cooled to encourage natural clarification. The subsequent temperature-controlled fermentation preserves the delicate primary aromatic components of the grapes. The process concludes with a brief maturation in steel, essential for maintaining flavour clarity, and a final resting period before release to the market. This method ensures a rosé with a clean and linear profile.
