Description

What kind of wine it is

Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Particella 68 Rive Di Colbertaldo Brut by Sorelle Bronca expresses the authenticity of Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco. Born from a harmonious blend of Glera, Bianchetta Trevigiana and Perera and crafted using the Charmat Method, it offers a straw yellow glass with greenish highlights. The clear aroma of yellow fruits and acacia flowers precedes a dry and balanced palate, made enveloping and lively by a fine and persistent perlage.

Where it comes from

The grapes ripen exclusively in the Particella 68 vineyard in Colbertaldo di Vidor. The Guyot-trained rows grow between 250 and 320 metres above sea level, caressed by a hilly microclimate that defines the wine’s structural elegance. The careful management of entirely estate-owned grapes encourages an intensely defined floral aromatic profile. This happy meeting of soil and climate gives the sparkling wine an integrated effervescence that fully reflects the identity of its place of origin.

How it is produced

The creation of this sparkling wine begins with a manual harvest. The subsequent vinification in temperature-controlled steel tanks preserves the aromatic and fruity character of the grapes intact. Its exquisitely dry profile makes it an elegant aperitif, able to harmoniously enhance dishes based on shellfish, fish and savoury tarts. The delicate dynamics of the sip also make it an excellent companion for the subtle flavours of dry pastries.

History and Curiosities

Particella 68 takes its name from the land registry reference of a lush hillside cru located in Colbertaldo di Vidor. Since 1959, the Sorelle Bronca estate has enhanced this area thanks to the artisanal passion that Antonella and Ersiliana dedicate to the vineyard. The harvests, carried out exclusively by hand in September, produce prized grapes that yield a Prosecco Superiore DOCG of remarkable elegance and refined creaminess. This tireless dedication to excellence is confirmed by the prestigious 96/100 score from Decanter.

From our Father Livio, we inherited the passion for the vine, the dedication to work, and the teachings of our grandfather Martino. We, Antonella and Ersiliana, have put the desire to transform this deep family feeling into a life project: Sorelle Bronca.

Only from our vineyards, cared for with passion and harvested by hand with the boxes, we obtain wines that are symbols of the territory but also of man’s ability to get the best out of nature. Hence the fundamental role of research for us understood not only as a way of moving forward but also as an exaltation of what is different by nature, analyzing it in-depth, and questioning each of its aspects as part of a much more complex whole.

The experimentation of new natural preparations for the defense of the vine, the adoption of the modern vision of an ancient technique such as the association between different plant species, the study of spontaneous fermentation is just some of the elementary particles that make up the wine of our cellar.

The search for quality guides our daily work.Hence the sense of our choices and the natural development of our history. The obsession for quality and the great love for the landscape led us years ago on the road to eco-sustainability, respecting the nature that surrounds us, and that gives us its best fruits.

Quality has been our passport to the world. It has allowed us to feel the pride of presenting a high-level Italian product, helping to keep the image of Prosecco Superiore and the winemaking tradition of our country high.
