The Moser family undoubtedly represents the history and tradition of wine in Austria. Back in 1848, Anton Moser founded his Weingut in Rohrendorf, a small agricultural town seventy kilometres from Vienna, and since then the winery has continued to belong to the same family.

Today, the winery is run by the enterprising Niki Moser, who manages around 50 hectares of certified biodynamic vineyards, divided between Rohrendorf, which is dedicated to white wines, and Apetlon, which is more suited to reds and Muskat Ottonel. The Grüner Veltliner and Riesling, Niki Moser's specialities, are mineral wines, persuasive and elegant but at the same time as bright and pure as a cold sunny day in the middle of winter. They are made from grapes grown on terraces along the banks of the Danube. During the day, the vines are caressed by warm breezes coming up from the river and, at night, by the decidedly cool air coming down from the north along the Krems valley. These constant changes of air give freshness and longevity to these carefully crafted wine pearls.
