Description
What kind of wine it is
Musina by Sartori di Verona is a Lugana with a straw yellow colour and greenish highlights. Made from Trebbiano di Lugana grapes, it offers a dry, harmonious and elegant flavour profile. On the nose, it presents a delicate bouquet, characterised by notes of white-fleshed fruits such as peach and plum, accompanied by hints of wildflowers. The palate is pleasantly fresh, delivering a dry taste and a lively finish that immediately invites another sip.
Where it comes from
This Lugana expresses the authenticity of the Veneto region, originating from vineyards located in the heart of the production area, on the south-western shore of Lake Garda. The calcareous-clay soils of morainic origin play an essential role, giving the wine a pronounced minerality. The proximity to the lake basin ensures an ideal microclimate for grape ripening, enhancing the well-defined savouriness and the natural freshness typical of the area.
How it is produced
The production by Sartori di Verona involves a careful selection of the grape bunches, followed by a gentle pressing to extract a pure and balanced must. Temperature-controlled fermentation in steel tanks preserves the aromatic integrity and freshness of the grape variety. Maturation takes place in three different containers: part rests in steel, part in cement, and a small fraction is refined in small oak barrels. This meticulous process gives the wine perfect structural harmony.
History and Curiosities
The Lugana DOC La Musina celebrates the century-old history of Casa Sartori 1898 on the shores of Lake Garda. The calcareous-clay soils give this Trebbiano an elegant minerality, awarded 91 points by James Suckling. The result of expert winemaking, the wine matures in steel, concrete and small oak barrels, revealing refined notes of peach and wildflowers. A multi-award-winning creation that transforms an extraordinary winemaking heritage into a harmonious, dry and irresistibly fresh sip.

The heir, endowed with a superfine palate, like a tailor, was able to 'sew' with extreme care the wines to propose to his clientele, which grew year after year.
After the Second World War, numbers also soared. Then, in 1952, when Regolo passed away, his two sons took over the business, opening it up to the foreign market.
The 1990s marked a turning point in the management of Casa Vinicola Sartori, which saw the entry of the Sartori family into the Board of Directors of the Colognola ai Colli winery to implement an ambitious growth project in the production and distribution of wines at a worldwide level. A goal successfully achieved. Read more
