Description

What type of wine it is

Salima et Alain Cordeuil's Champagne Altitude 320m is a Brut Nature of great character, produced exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes. Crafted using the Traditional Method, it is characterised by a fine and creamy perlage. On the nose, it reveals a complex aromatic profile, with notes of red apple, pear and citrus, enhanced by hints of acacia flowers, almond and light touches of cherry. On the palate, it is fresh and well-structured, supported by a distinct mineral tension that leads towards a persistent, clean and savoury finish.

Where it comes from

This wine originates from the renowned Cru Noé, specifically from the Les Mallets parcel. This single vineyard enjoys an excellent south-facing exposure at an altitude of 320 metres, an ideal condition for balanced grape ripening. The vines, with an average age of thirty-five years, are rooted in marly and limestone soils, which give the wine a deep mineral character. The terroir is reflected in a glass of great precision, tension and persistence.

How it is produced

Production follows the principles of the Traditional Method, with a slow secondary fermentation in the bottle ensuring fine and elegant bubbles. The absence of sugar dosage allows for the appreciation of the fruit's purity and the identity of the terroir, maintaining a straight and vertical profile.
