Description
What kind of wine it is
Primosic Pinot Grigio del Collio is a still white wine that precisely interprets the varietal character of Pinot Grigio. To the eye, it presents an elegant straw yellow colour enriched with coppery reflections, a typical chromatic note that heralds a delicate aromatic profile. On the nose, there are clear hints of apricot skin, composing an essential and very clean bouquet. On the palate, it expresses an elegant body, supported by a pleasant acidity and enveloping warmth, offering a structured sip that remains true to the primary characteristics of the grape.
Where it comes from
This wine originates in the heart of Collio, an area of Friuli-Venezia Giulia with an extraordinary winemaking vocation. In this hilly landscape in the province of Gorizia, Primosic has been cultivating its vineyards since 1956. Under the oenological guidance of Marko Primosic, the grapes are processed to faithfully reflect the identity of the territory. This white wine has good ageing potential and a longevity of several years, capable of refining over time in the cellar. To best appreciate its organoleptic nuances, the recommended serving temperature is between 10 and 12 °C.
How it is produced
Thanks to a process aimed at preserving the purity of the fruit, the wine acquires a versatility that makes it ideal for various occasions at the table. Its balanced structure pairs perfectly with crustaceans and seafood, also enhancing dishes based on white fish with delicate flesh, such as sea bass. Its softness and well-calibrated freshness also allow it to successfully accompany fattier and more flavourful fish. Finally, the enveloping nature of the sip makes it excellent for accompanying refined cheese selections, ensuring a consistently harmonious tasting experience.
History and Curiosities

Overseen by oenologist Marko Primosic, this label embodies the deep connection between the vine and its place of origin. Primosic's attitude is to always push the quality limits necessary to carry out a project based on zones to ascertain the characteristics of the terroir and to find the perfect match for the vines. A philosophy of life in which Primosic strives to determine its expression of wine with the characteristic balance between vine and terroir.
