Description
What kind of wine it is
Pierre Andre Ladoix Blanc is a still white wine from Burgundy, a region renowned for Chardonnay. This wine combines freshness with a balanced structure, revealing a pleasant aromatic complexity and a vibrant finish. The meticulous attention given to vinification defines a rigorous technical approach and an extremely clean taste. At the table, it proves to be an ideal pairing for warm shellfish and hard cheeses.
Where it comes from
The grapes grow in the Ladoix area, in the north-western sector of the Côte de Beaune, on slopes overlooking the village of the same name. The soils are stony and marly, characterised by reddish hues and a significant chalky presence. This specific geological formation gives the wine a clear style, where aromatic finesse is combined with pronounced gustatory tension. Pierre Andre interprets these places by constantly seeking a precise expressive elegance.
How it is produced
The production process begins with pneumatic pressing of the bunches as soon as they arrive at the winery. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in barrels, followed by maturation in oak barrels for eight to ten months. The practice of bâtonnage enriches the palate with depth. In the glass, it presents a vivid, crystalline pale yellow colour, anticipating a floral bouquet intertwined with subtle hints of hazelnut and spices. The palate is both immediate and complex, revealing exotic fruit aromas that finish with a taut and inviting finale.
