Description
What kind of wine is it
Pierre Andre Bourgogne Pinot Noir Vieilles Vignes is a red wine that embodies the essence of the renowned Burgundy region. Made from Pinot Noir grapes, it stands out for its clear, bright ruby red colour. On the nose, it reveals a precise bouquet of small red fruits, enriched with hints of blackcurrant, gooseberry and delicate peppery notes, elegantly blending with the typical undergrowth aromas. On the palate, it is structured and harmonious, with a velvety texture supported by soft tannins and a pronounced minerality. The finish is long and refreshing, offering a complex and rewarding tasting experience.
Where does it come from
This wine comes from the heart of prestigious Burgundy, from vineyards managed according to sustainable principles. The Pierre André estate takes great care of these lands, located near Beaune. The grapes come from old vines over forty years old, whose roots penetrate marl soils rich in limestone and clay. This specific soil composition gives the grapes a high aromatic concentration and imparts that distinctive minerality to the sip, faithfully reflecting the character of its place of origin.
How is it produced
The production process aims to preserve the natural elegance of the grapes, seeking a fine and silky texture. After fermentation, the wine matures for ten months in oak barrels, a crucial step for acquiring depth and structure. At the table, it pairs beautifully with white and red meats, mushroom-based dishes, game and aged cheeses such as Reblochon or Morbier. To best appreciate its aromatic evolution, it is recommended to decant for about an hour before serving, ideally at a temperature between fourteen and sixteen degrees.
