Description
What kind of wine is it
Pertois Moriset Champagne L’Assemblage Extra Brut is a sparkling wine of great precision, created from a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Produced using the Traditional Method, this Champagne displays a pale straw yellow colour enlivened by a fine and persistent perlage. On the nose and palate, it reveals a dry, fresh and fruity profile, characterised by clear citrus, floral and spicy notes.
Where does it come from
The grapes come from vineyards located between the Côte des Blancs and the Coteaux Sézannais, managed with a biological and sustainable approach. The Pertois Moriset house, active since 1951 as a récoltant-manipulant producer, tends its own vineyards to bring out in the glass the authentic finesse and elegance typical of the Le Mesnil-sur-Oger terroir.
How is it produced
Vinification is carried out strictly following the Traditional Method. The choice of Extra Brut dosage ensures a taut and dry sip, capable of enhancing the wine’s natural freshness and aromatic nuances. With remarkable ageing potential, this wine pairs superbly with oysters, shellfish, cheeses and white meats.

The House’s history began through the marriage between Yves Pertois and Janine Moriset, the son and daughter of two former winemaking families in the Côte de Blancs.
In 1951, the couple decided to create the brand Pertois-Moriset, which continued to develop as their son Dominique and his wife Florence joined the House.
Today, The House is managed by their granddaughter Cécile and her husband Vincent. The surface of the vineyard is 20.70 hectares, spread over two terroirs: the Côte de Blancs which is around 13.4 hectares, and the Coteaux Sézannais which is around 7.30 hectares. Read more
