Description

What kind of wine it is

The Champagne Fluence Brut Nature by Franck Pascal is a biodynamic wine with a pas dosé profile. This Traditional Method offers an essential interpretation of a blend composed of Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. In the glass, it displays a straw yellow colour and a very fine perlage, accompanied by a delicate effervescence. On the nose, clear notes of citrus, ripe yellow fruit and hints of brioche emerge. On the palate, it reveals a fluid texture, supported by dynamic acidity and a fresh, mineral finish, ensuring a highly balanced drink.

Where it comes from

This cuvée originates in Baslieux-sous-Châtillon, in the renowned Champagne region. The wine project reflects a deep respect for nature through strict biodynamic management of the plots. The name of the wine evokes a continuous transformation, symbolising the vitality restored to the soils. The absence of dosage enhances the connection between vine, soil and light, ensuring a pronounced gustatory tension. Its origin defines a precise territorial identity, where the authenticity of the terroir is expressed with unspoilt minerality.

How it is produced

Vinification faithfully follows the principles of the Champenoise Method, favouring minimal intervention in the cellar. The prise de mousse takes place in the bottle using exclusively indigenous yeasts. The wine is then aged for at least 24 months on the lees, acquiring depth and structural complexity. The entire production cycle proceeds without racking or filtration, preserving the vital energy of the liquid. Finally, the technical choice of zero dosage preserves the purity of the grapes, resulting in a taut and highly pure sip.

History and Curiosities

The name Fluence evokes the constant transformation that has guided Isabelle and Franck Pascal towards biodynamic viticulture in the plots inherited from their parents. This cuvée, produced entirely from the 2018 harvest, tells the story of a profound change in which the soils regain their vital energy. The precious bond between vine, terroir and light is expressed in an authentic and vibrant wine. The aim of this classic method pas dosé is to celebrate the rebirth of the land, enhancing the power of nature thanks to the use of indigenous yeasts.
