Description
What kind of wine it is
Neret Vely's Champagne Blanc de Noirs displays a fresh and well-structured profile. Crafted using the Traditional Method, it is born from a harmonious blend featuring Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. On the nose, it is discreet and elegant, enriched by clear fruity notes. On the palate, it offers a full, balanced and inviting sip, characterised by the typically dry style of the Extra Brut dosage. It pairs ideally with starters, cheeses and dishes based on lean fish.
Where it comes from
This wine originates in the Marne Valley, in the heart of the Champagne region. The area benefits from an oceanic climate that gives the grapes a natural and vibrant freshness. The producer, an independent winemaker, follows the principles of organic and sustainable agriculture to preserve environmental balance and biodiversity. This deep connection with the land translates into an essential style, capable of ensuring great aromatic clarity and a precise structural identity.
How it is produced
The production process enhances the Traditional Method through malolactic fermentation carried out by indigenous yeasts. This technical choice preserves the purity of the must, defining an extremely clear sensory profile. Maturation on the lees adds complexity, while the low final dosage highlights a pronounced gustatory tension. The result is a glass that combines maximum aromatic precision with a dry, fresh and satisfying sip.
History and Curiosities
Since 1945, Neret Vely has embodied the spirit of the independent winemaker in the Marne Valley. The Ode à la Vie cuvée features an evocative label designed by the artist Kevin De Tunne, depicting an old tractor surrounded by wildlife. This illustration celebrates organic cultivation and the protection of biodiversity, enhanced by the region's typical oceanic influence. The elegant graphic design combines rural memory and wildlife, transforming the bottle into a captivating tale of the Marne, centred on sustainability.

What's more, after 8 years of loyal service, it was time for our labels to make way. We wanted to create new labels that reflected the identity of the House and my own philosophy.
Each of our new labels is finely illustrated by Kevin De Tunne (KTD art.), a young artist from Reims. The first to appear is that of your Blanc de Noirs cuvée, with a drawing of our old tractor invaded by wildlife. It is now called "Ode to Life". Read more
