Description

What kind of wine it is

Neret Vely Champagne Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut Terra Mia is a Blanc de Blancs that precisely expresses the purity of Chardonnay. On the nose, it opens with distinct floral aromas, interwoven with lively citrus notes, hints of spice and toasted bread. On the palate, it stands out for its clear freshness, culminating in a pleasantly savoury finish. This gustatory tension makes the Extra Brut Champagne ideal for accompanying starters, lean fish and cheese selections, if served at 6-8 °C.

Where it comes from

This wine originates from the French region of Champagne, a territory capable of imparting a precise aromatic definition. Produced by Neret Vely, it reflects the identity of a company that has cultivated a deep connection with viticulture since 1945. The agricultural management follows the principles of sustainable viticulture, fully enhancing the characteristics of Chardonnay. The vocation of the area is revealed in the glass through a smooth drinkability, characterised by a fresh and distinctly savoury flavour profile.

How it is produced

Production takes place according to the Traditional Method, a fundamental oenological step in defining the structure of the wine. The vinification of Chardonnay involves fermentation activated exclusively by indigenous yeasts, followed by malolactic fermentation. These technical choices enrich the aromatic bouquet, maintaining linearity and clarity. The wine ultimately reveals an ageing potential of between five and ten years, preserving its vitality over time.

History and Curiosities

Since 1945, the Neret Vely maison has passed down its winemaking passion through its Champagne Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut, produced in France from pure Chardonnay grapes. This cuvée combines tradition and sustainability through the traditional method with indigenous yeasts and malolactic fermentation. Every detail tells of a deep connection to its origins: from the refined, consistent flavour typical of “sans année” champagnes, to the distinctive illustrated label that expresses the elegant identity of this renowned winery.

From this winery
We would like to remind you of our identity as winegrowers and our location in the Marne Valley, which, thanks to its oceanic influence, brings so much freshness to our champagnes.

What's more, after 8 years of loyal service, it was time for our labels to make way. We wanted to create new labels that reflected the identity of the House and my own philosophy.

Each of our new labels is finely illustrated by Kevin De Tunne (KTD art.), a young artist from Reims. The first to appear is that of your Blanc de Noirs cuvée, with a drawing of our old tractor invaded by wildlife. It is now called "Ode to Life".
