Description
What kind of wine is it
Moser Trento Blanc de Noirs Blauen Extra Brut is a Traditional Method sparkling wine that embodies the prestige of the Trento region. Made from Pinot Noir grapes, this Blanc de Noirs stands out for its intense straw yellow colour and fine perlage. On the nose, it reveals fruity aromas, smoky notes, hints of toasted hazelnut and evolved nuances. On the palate, it is dry, with a long flavour persistence that makes it ideal for pairing with starters, fish dishes, shellfish and cheeses.
Where does it come from
The grapes are sourced from the Maso Warth vineyards, located at an altitude of 350 metres in Trentino Alto Adige. This position provides Moser with the ideal climate for slow and gradual ripening. The limestone soils give the wine great freshness and a pronounced savoury character, reflecting the Val di Cembra. Meticulous care among the vines enhances the natural vocation of the area, offering a clear and refined mountain elegance.
How is it produced
The winemaking process begins with manual harvesting and whole bunch pressing, extracting only the free-run must. Fermentation in steel tanks preserves the aromatic purity of the fruit until the bottling stage. The wine's complexity develops during seventy-two months on the lees, followed by a further year of maturation. The result is a rigorous Extra Brut, with a dry and profound palate, testament to a high-level production technique.
