Description
Wine style
Mastroberardino's Morabianca is a dry white wine with a controlled designation of origin (DOC) that expresses the authentic soul of Irpinia. Produced from Falanghina grapes and vinified in steel, it is distinguished by an intense bouquet dominated by notes of tropical fruit, peach and citrus, embellished with elegant floral nuances. On the palate, it expresses a vibrant freshness supported by a solid and balanced structure. The sip is taut and clean, with a persistent finish ideal for pairing with shellfish and seafood salads.
Origin
The grapes come from a single vineyard located in Mirabella Eclano, in the heart of the Irpinia territory. Situated at an altitude of approximately four hundred metres, the vines benefit from a south-west exposure that guarantees optimal sunlight. The tuffaceous soil, rich in minerals, gives the wine a distinctive gustatory tension. The Campania microclimate ensures rigorous aromatic precision and a structural clarity typical of this area.
Production method
The Guyot training system ensures balanced yields, with a late October harvest that allows the Falanghina to reach full aromatic maturity. Vinification takes place in temperature-controlled steel tanks, a technical choice aimed at preserving the purity of the primary aromas. The process concludes with careful ageing in the bottle, essential for harmonising and stabilising the entire sensory profile.
