Description
What kind of wine is it
Trebbiano d’Abruzzo Anima is a still white wine produced by Marramiero, an authentic expression of the Trebbiano grape. On the nose, it reveals a persistent, fruity and intense profile, a prelude to a pleasantly harmonious sip. On the palate, it proves savoury and balanced, with clear hints of ripe fruit that define its structure. Served at a temperature of 10-12 °C, it pairs perfectly with light starters, delicate first courses and lean fish dishes.
Where does it come from
This wine originates from the Rosciano Estates and the Amarello Estate in Ofena, areas particularly suited to the production of Trebbiano d’Abruzzo. The vineyards take root in deep, rich soils, with a clay tendency and medium texture. The specific pedoclimatic conditions, combined with espalier training systems and Guyot planting, favour optimal ripening of the grapes, giving the wine its characteristic gustatory balance.
How is it produced
The production of Trebbiano d’Abruzzo Anima begins with a cold contact with the skins, followed by gentle whole pressing aimed at preserving the integrity of the must. Fermentation takes place entirely in stainless steel vats, to maintain the natural aromatic freshness. The wine rests in the same containers for a four-month maturation, then completes its ageing in the bottle before presenting itself in the glass with a bright straw yellow colour.
History and Curiosities
The Trebbiano d’Abruzzo DOC Anima embodies the Abruzzese identity, produced at the Rosciano and Amarello estates in Ofena by the Marramiero winery. After ripening, the grapes are processed cold and gently pressed. Fermentation and maturation in stainless steel enhance the straw-yellow colour and intense aromas. On the palate, it offers a savoury and harmonious sip, with notes of ripe fruit. This label holds the 3E Equalitas sustainability certification.
