Description
Style of wine
The Trebbiano d’Abruzzo from Marchesi Migliorati is a still white wine with a rigorous character, produced according to the principles of organic and biodynamic agriculture. In the glass, it presents a straw-yellow hue, which precedes an elegant olfactory profile distinguished by notes of white flowers. On the palate, it is fresh and harmonious, offering immediate drinkability and a pleasant persistence. The essence of the Trebbiano grape variety is enhanced by vinification in stainless steel, which keeps its natural aromatic purity intact.
Origin
This white wine comes from Abruzzo, from mid-hillside vineyards situated at three hundred metres above sea level. The south-east exposure ensures the vines receive ideal sunlight for balanced ripening, whilst the clay soils bestow structure and finesse upon the wine. The vines, trained using the espalier system with a density of four thousand four hundred vines per hectare, are managed with extreme care. The local microclimate enhances the qualities of the Trebbiano, resulting in a sip characterised by great harmony and persistence.
Production method
Production begins in early September with the harvest of bunches that have reached the perfect level of ripeness. In the cellar, the artisanal process involves fermentation in steel for about ten days, carried out without temperature control. Subsequently, the wine ages in steel for a minimum of three months, a fundamental step to achieve expressive clarity. Served at a temperature between fourteen and sixteen degrees, it proves to be an elegant aperitif, ideal for enhancing fish dishes and fresh cheeses.
