Description

What kind of wine it is

This still red wine of medium body, made from Dolcetto grapes, stands out for its violet-red colour. On the nose, it reveals intense aromas of wild berry jam, blueberries and dog rose, enriched by fresh balsamic notes of eucalyptus. On the palate, it fully confirms the olfactory profile, offering a balanced structure that delivers a linear and highly enjoyable sip.

Where it comes from

The wine originates in the Langhe, in Piedmont, in the Dolcetto d’Alba area. The producer, Manuel Marinacci, who graduated in Alba, enhanced his expertise as a technician in Umbria, Diano d’Alba and Champagne, founding his own business in 2002. The terroir shapes the typical character of this red, enhancing its dark fruit and ensuring a harmonious medium body. The connection with the hills of Alba translates into an authentic and well-defined identity.

How it is produced

Made from Dolcetto grapes, this wine has an estimated ageing potential of between five and ten years. To enhance its fruity intensity and balsamic hints, it is recommended to serve it at a temperature between 14 and 16°C, ideally after about an hour of decanting. At the table, it pairs excellently with platters of cured meats and mature cheeses. Its structure also matches perfectly with rich meat-based dishes and flavourful pork preparations.

History and Curiosities

Manuel Marinacci, a winemaker who graduated in Alba, brings together the experiences he gained in Umbria, Champagne and the Langhe in this Dolcetto d’Alba DOC 2023. After starting his own business in Piedmont in 2002, he created a red wine with a violet hue, genuine and of medium body. This label skilfully balances tradition and identity, releasing intense aromas of blueberries, wild berry jam and balsamic notes of eucalyptus. An extraordinary still red, perfect for naturally enhancing cured meats, mature cheeses and pork-based dishes.
