Description
What kind of wine is it
Manuel Marinacci Barbaresco Rocche MassaLupo is an elegant still red wine from Piedmont, made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes. It stands out for its bright garnet red colour, enhanced by brilliant highlights. On the nose, it offers a bouquet characterised by rose petals, black cherry and small red fruits, enriched with notes of sweet spices and balsamic hints. On the palate, it reveals an elegant structure, supported by fine tannins and vibrant acidity, leading to a savoury and harmonious finish, perfect for ageing.
Where does it come from
This red wine originates in Piedmont, in the area of Alba, within the prestigious Barbaresco region. It is produced by Manuel Marinacci, who founded the winery in the Langhe area in 2002, drawing on experience gained in Diano d’Alba, Umbria and the Champagne region. This expertise translates into a rigorous stylistic approach, capable of conveying the authentic Langhe identity in the glass, with a deep, vigorous expression intimately linked to its terroir.
How is it produced
The processing of Nebbiolo aims to enhance the elegance that distinguishes Barbaresco. Every stage of the process is designed to preserve the varietal freshness, extracting a silky and deep tannic texture that ensures excellent ageing potential. To fully appreciate its complexity, it is recommended to decant for about an hour and serve at a temperature of 16-18°C. At the table, it pairs harmoniously with braised meats, lamb, mushrooms, mature cheeses and classic Piedmontese tajarin.
