Description
What kind of wine it is
Man Trento Rosé Brut is a refined sparkling wine with Trento designation by Man, originating from Trentino-Alto Adige. Created from a meticulous blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, it is crafted using the Traditional Method. In the glass, it displays a bright antique pink, enlivened by a plentiful and continuous perlage. On the nose, it offers an intense and elegant bouquet, with clear notes of blackberry, blackcurrant, raspberry and wild strawberry. The palate is characterised by a fresh, clean and complex profile, finishing with a persistent finale featuring hints of yeast, figs and toasted almonds.
Where it comes from
This rosé is born in Trentino-Alto Adige, in the renowned Trento area. The region's harsh mountain climate ensures the wine has great freshness and aromatic precision. Man carefully selects the grapes in the vineyard to guarantee an excellent quality raw material. The geographical origin is evident in the clean sip and the clear definition of the fruit. This strong territorial identity gives the wine an authentic character, deeply rooted in its origins.
How it is produced
Manual harvesting precedes gentle pressing, aimed at extracting only the free-run must. Fermentation takes place mainly in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, while the remaining portion matures in oak barrels, where it undergoes malolactic fermentation. The secondary fermentation occurs in the bottle according to the Traditional Method, followed by slow ageing on the lees in underground cellars at a constant temperature. This maturation imparts an elegant complexity to the palate and enriches the aftertaste with toasted sensations.
History and Curiosities
Originating from the heart of Trentino-Alto Adige, this exclusive Trento DOC Rosé Brut is born from the refined union of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes. The manual harvest and gentle pressing of only the free-run must ensure absolute elegance, enhanced by a vinification process that skilfully combines the use of steel with fine oak tonneaux. The careful 30-month ageing on the lees gives this Rosé a complex structure, revealing a fine and persistent perlage, aromas of wild strawberry, and an irresistible finish with notes of figs and toasted almonds.
