Description
What kind of wine is it
Lamole di Lamole Chianti Classico Lareale Riserva is an organic red wine that captures the authentic essence of Tuscany. Produced from a skilful blend of Sangiovese and Canaiolo Nero grapes, this wine hails from the renowned Chianti Classico area, in its Riserva version, characterised by a more complex structure. Visually, it stands out for its bright ruby red colour, while on the nose it offers a bouquet of violet, broom and red fruits, enriched by elegant balsamic notes of resin and undergrowth. On the palate it is dynamic, with lively freshness and a very fine tannic texture that ensures a pleasant progression of flavour.
Where does it come from
The grapes grow in the picturesque village of Lamole, in the heart of Greve in Chianti. The vineyards are situated at high altitudes, between 470 and 655 metres, where temperature variations and ventilation favour optimal ripening of the bunches. The soil, composed of galestro rocks, sandstone from the Tuscan Macigno and inserts of alberese, gives the wine a distinctive savoury note and a refined profile. Lamole di Lamole manages its vineyards following an organic and sustainable approach, in full respect of the environment and the natural vocation of the land.
How is it produced
The harvest takes place between the end of September and mid-October to pick the fruit at perfect ripeness. In the winery, after a meticulous optical selection of the berries, a gentle pressing is carried out and fermentation with skin maceration for about twelve days at a controlled temperature. Afterwards, the wine matures in barrels for at least two years, completing its ageing before the final blend. At the table, this Tuscan red pairs perfectly with roast meats, game, truffle-based dishes and mature cheeses.
