Description
What kind of wine is it
Where Dreams Have No End is a renowned white wine from Jermann, created as a tribute to the album “The Joshua Tree” by U2. This interpretation of Chardonnay displays a bright straw yellow colour. On the nose, it reveals a complex aromatic profile, with elegant hints of exotic fruit, melted butter and vanilla. On the palate, it is a white wine of excellent structure, perfectly balanced between aromatic richness and freshness, with a prolonged flavour persistence featuring toasted notes.
Where does it come from
This wine originates from Villanova di Farra, in the heart of Venezia Giulia. The Chardonnay vines are cultivated using the Guyot training system on soils composed of marl sandstone. This Eocene-origin terroir, known as ponca friulana, gives the wine a pronounced territorial identity. The particular soil composition nourishes the roots deeply, imparting a natural mineral savouriness to the glass that supports and defines the aromatic intensity of the grape variety.
How is it produced
The winemaking process involves 11 months of ageing in small French oak barrels. This choice encourages a harmonious fusion between the wood notes and the fruity aromas, giving the wine elegance and smoothness. Served at an ideal temperature between 10 and 12 degrees, it expresses its complexity at its best. At the table, its intensity pairs impeccably with structured seafood dishes such as roast turbot, grilled shellfish or mature cheeses.
