Description
What kind of wine it is
Inama's Vin Soave Classico is a still white wine, vinified in steel, which embodies the essence of the Veneto region. Made from Garganega grapes, it presents a harmonious and elegant profile in the glass. On the nose, it reveals scents of wildflowers, such as chamomile, elderflower and iris, enriched by notes of ripe apple and citrus. On the palate, it stands out for its vibrant, savoury and mineral freshness and a characteristic sweet almond aftertaste, pairing elegantly with white fish dishes, sushi, delicate risottos and soft cheeses.
Where it comes from
The grapes come from the hillside slopes between Monteforte d’Alpone and Soave. The vineyards, managed according to organic farming principles, are rooted in volcanic soils rich in basaltic lava, which impart a distinctive savoury character to the glass. The vines, over thirty years old, are trained using the traditional pergola system. The altitude of the hills and the excellent sun exposure of the plots allow for the best possible expression of the terroir.
How it is produced
The production process begins with manual harvesting, followed by destemming and crushing of the Garganega. The must undergoes a brief skin maceration to gently extract the natural aromatic profile. After pressing and cold settling, temperature-controlled fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. Ageing continues in the same containers, avoiding the use of wood to preserve the vibrancy and freshness of the fruit. In spring, final filtration results in a wine characterised by pronounced aromatic clarity.
