Description

What kind of wine it is

Palagio New Day Rosato is a still wine with a coppery pink hue, made from Sangiovese grapes grown using organic farming methods. This Tuscan gem offers a fragrant bouquet with notes of wild roses, wild strawberries, peach, citrus and pink pepper. On the palate, it stands out for its mineral and saline freshness, balanced by a pleasant acidity. The sip is harmonious and finishes with a persistent note of cherry and subtle spicy nuances.

Where it comes from

It originates from the hills of Figline Valdarno, at the Il Palagio estate owned by Sting and Trudie Styler. The vineyards thrive in an ecosystem managed according to organic farming principles, resulting in a pure and vibrant fruit. The name is part of a project that links each wine to a famous song by the founder, in this case inspired by the track Brand New Day. The connection with the land delivers a glass with a clean profile, ideal for convivial moments and toasts with friends.

How it is produced

Vinification follows strict organic protocols. The wine matures for five months in stainless steel tanks, a technical choice aimed at preserving the integrity of the primary aromas and ensuring a pleasant smoothness. Excellent when served between 8 and 12°C, it fully expresses its remarkable gastronomic versatility. It is excellent as an aperitif and pairs naturally with seafood dishes, sushi, white meats, salads and delicate cheeses.

History and Curiosities

Born on the historic Il Palagio Estate of Sting and Trudie Styler, this elegant Tuscan rosé takes its inspiration from the famous song “Brand New Day”. Overseen by renowned oenologist Riccardo Cotarella, the wine is the result of rigorous organic farming practised on the hills of Figline Valdarno. Produced in an exclusive limited edition, it skilfully combines a love of music with the deep agricultural vocation of a nine-hundred-hectare estate, offering a sip that expresses the authentic beauty of an unspoilt land.
