Description
What kind of wine it is
Dubl Metodo Classico Brut by Feudi di San Gregorio is a sparkling wine that enhances the vibrant character of Greco grapes. It displays a straw yellow colour with golden highlights and a fine and persistent perlage. On the nose, it releases aromas of citrus, white peach and white flowers, with a distinct mineral note. On the palate, it is fresh, lively and dry, supported by an elegant savouriness. This Brut sparkling wine pairs excellently with raw seafood, sushi and fried fish dishes.
Where it comes from
The grapes are grown in Irpinia, among the municipalities of Tufo, Santa Paolina and Montefusco. The vines grow between 400 and 700 metres on volcanic soils, in a mountainous climate with significant temperature variations that ensure freshness in the grapes. The project benefits from the expertise of Anselme Selosse, from Champagne, to enhance the expressiveness of the region. This rigorous agricultural ethic has led to the achievement of the prestigious B Corp and Equalitas certifications.
How it is produced
Production begins with manual harvesting and gentle pressing. The secondary fermentation takes place in the bottle according to the Traditional Method. The subsequent ageing on the lees for thirty-six months enriches the structure and develops a complex aromatic expression. The maturation consolidates a medium-bodied structure, delivering a harmonious flavour profile that combines drinkability, vibrant acidity and a savoury, lingering finish.
History and Curiosities
Created in 2004 to enhance the value of Campanian grapes, the fascinating DUBL project combines the soul of Irpinia with the genius of master Anselme Selosse. Made exclusively from Greco grapes, this fine Traditional Method sparkling wine stands out for its strong territorial identity and the refined bottle design by Massimo Vignelli. An avant-garde vision that also excels in ethical commitment, being the first Italian sparkling wine of this type to obtain the prestigious B Corp and Equalitas certifications.

To ensure that the result would not be a mere exercise in oenological technique, but an original interpretation of a unique territory, Feudi sought a consultant who was not only a master of the technique, but who knew how to use it to transfer all the qualities of the vine and the territory to the wine.
Thus was born the collaboration with Anselme Selosse, a well-known winemaker from Avize (Champagne), famous for his ability to read the identity of the vineyards, and with it the Dubl project, i.e. the perfect synthesis between technique and the uniqueness of the terroir. Read more
