Description
What kind of wine it is
Dubl Esse Metodo Classico Dosaggio Zero is a sparkling wine of great character, made exclusively from Greco grapes using the strict Traditional Method. In the glass, it displays a brilliant green-gold hue, crossed by a very fine and persistent perlage. The bouquet opens with clear citrus notes of sfusato lemon and yellow grapefruit, enhanced by hints of flint, sweet spices and green incense. On the palate, it is dry and sharp, offering a clean and fresh sip that is at the same time enveloping and elegant, ideal for accompanying an entire meal, particularly gratinated seafood, fried fish or fresh goat's cheeses.
Where it comes from
This label expresses the winemaking essence of Campania, originating from the vineyards in the Tufo area of Irpinia. The Dubl project was created with the aim of enhancing the historic native grapes of this region through bottle fermentation. The unique environment in which the vines grow gives the Greco grape an unmistakable saline and mineral profile, making it perfect for sparkling wine production aimed at great longevity. The result is a glass that reflects a deep connection with the land combined with marked technical sensitivity, offering a new interpretation of a region renowned for oenological excellence.
How it is produced
The winemaking process involves bottle refermentation and a long ageing period of ninety months on the lees, a crucial factor in giving the structure profound complexity. As no liqueur d’expédition is added, the wine is presented in its pure zero dosage form, enhancing the natural tension of the raw material. The creation of this sparkling wine benefits from the expert collaboration of Anselme Selosse, the renowned Champagne producer, whose contribution has helped shape a sparkling wine with unrivalled persistence and razor-sharp precision.
History and Curiosities
Born in 2004 from the vision of Feudi di San Gregorio, the Dubl project was created to enhance the grape varieties of Irpinia. The result of a collaboration with the renowned producer Anselme Selosse, the 2015 vintage of pure Greco stands out as an absolutely elegant Metodo Classico Dosaggio Zero. The long 90-month maturation on the lees shapes an enveloping, taut and exceptionally precise sparkling wine. Acclaimed by the most authoritative international critics, this prestigious label expresses remarkable ageing potential, with a longevity of 10-15 years that promises a memorable tasting experience.

To ensure that the result would not be a mere exercise in oenological technique, but an original interpretation of a unique territory, Feudi sought a consultant who was not only a master of the technique, but who knew how to use it to transfer all the qualities of the vine and the territory to the wine.
Thus was born the collaboration with Anselme Selosse, a well-known winemaker from Avize (Champagne), famous for his ability to read the identity of the vineyards, and with it the Dubl project, i.e. the perfect synthesis between technique and the uniqueness of the terroir. Read more
