What kind of wine it is
Chaos is a red wine produced by Fattoria Le Terrazze, an authentic expression of the Marche region. It is created from a careful blend of Merlot and Syrah, offering a full and smooth sip where the fruity component and tannins merge in perfect balance. Visually, it presents an intense ruby colour with elegant violet highlights. The bouquet is complex and layered, enriched by notes of vanilla and clear hints of ripe fruit.
Where it comes from
The grapes come from the vineyards of Numana, located in the heart of the region, cultivated according to the principles of organic and sustainable agriculture. The soils, formed during the Upper Middle Pliocene, range from calcareous-clay to calcareous-sandy depending on sun exposure. This specific geological formation gives the wine remarkable elegance and a dense tannic structure, faithfully reflecting its place of origin.
How it is produced
After careful selection, the grapes undergo fermentation in steel to maintain absolute aromatic precision. Maceration on the skins for about eight or nine days ensures optimal structural extraction. Once malolactic fermentation is complete, the wine matures in French oak barrels for a period ranging from eighteen to twenty-four months. A final glass ageing of six months completes its evolution and definitively stabilises its sensory profile.
