Description
What kind of wine it is
Famiglia Pasqua Valpolicella is a still red wine from Veneto, representing the renowned Valpolicella area. This elegant blend is created from a careful selection of Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Croatina grapes, offering a fresh sip with good structure. Its sensory profile is distinguished by clear aromas of blackcurrant and raspberry, which precede a rounded, clean palate with impeccable balance.
Where it comes from
This red originates from the Valpolicella region, a wine-producing area in Veneto historically dedicated to excellence. Pasqua manages the vineyards following a strict organic and sustainable approach. The deep connection with the environment translates into a wine with a marked territorial character, capable of reflecting the unique features of the soils and climate. Tasting reveals an aromatic freshness that defines the identity of its region of origin.
How it is produced
The harvest takes place in mid-September, followed by crushing and an eight-hour maceration at 10°C. The must ferments for about ten to twelve days, during which continuous pumping over ensures optimal extraction of aromas and colour. After malolactic fermentation, the wine matures in barrels for several months. Thanks to its balance, it offers an ageing potential of between five and ten years, expressing itself best after about an hour of decanting.
History and Curiosities
The Valpolicella Famiglia Pasqua celebrates the history of Pasqua Vigneti e Cantine, a historic Venetian winery founded in 1925. The meticulous vinification, enhanced by a measured ageing in barrique, highlights the authenticity of the region.
