Description
What kind of wine it is
Meursault by Fabien Coche is a still white wine from Burgundy with the Meursault designation, elegantly expressing the character of Chardonnay. To the eye, it appears a bright straw yellow, enhanced by golden highlights. The aromatic profile reveals notes of citrus peel and white peach, harmoniously integrated with hints of toasted hazelnut and subtle smoky nuances. On the palate, it stands out for its fine texture and pronounced minerality, supported by a vibrant acidity that brings energy to the sip, leading to a long, saline finish.
Where it comes from
This white originates in Burgundy, in the heart of the Côte-d’Or. The Meursault area has a long-standing reputation for producing structured wines with a distinct mineral character. Producer Fabien Coche enhances the terroir through environmentally conscious farming practices. Thanks to the perfect balance between body and freshness, this wine proves to be an excellent companion for seafood, such as shellfish and turbot, and also pairs stylishly with rich dishes like creamy risottos.
How it is produced
Production is based on strict organic and sustainable management, carefully following the grapes from the vineyard to maturation in the cellar. To preserve its original aromatic integrity, the wine is bottled without filtration, an artisanal choice that maintains its authenticity and material richness. Best served at an ideal temperature between 10 and 12 degrees, this white boasts remarkable ageing potential, capable of maturing in the bottle and developing new complexities over the years.
