Description
What kind of wine is it
Domini Veneti Lugana Collezione Pruviniano is a still white wine with a clear aromatic profile, made from Trebbiano di Lugana grapes. In the glass, it displays a straw yellow colour with greenish highlights, hinting at a bouquet distinguished by delicate white-fleshed fruit notes and subtle floral hints. On the palate, it is dry, fresh and medium-bodied, offering a harmonious sip that finishes with a well-defined mineral tension.
Where does it come from
This expression of Lugana originates in Veneto, at the foot of the Veronese hills. The vines grow at around fifty metres above sea level on clay-limestone soils of glacial origin, whose properties impart a distinct mineral character to the wine. The vineyard is home to plants between twenty and thirty years old, cultivated using the modified Veronese pergola system, taking advantage of a microclimate ideal for optimal ripening of the grapes.
How is it produced
Harvesting takes place between mid and late September, followed by destemming and gentle pressing. Fermentation occurs without skins at a controlled temperature, enhancing the original aromatic profile. The subsequent maturation in stainless steel preserves the structural freshness. The production cycle concludes with careful protein and tartaric stabilisation, ensuring a final result that is dry, clean and perfectly balanced.
History and Curiosities
A product of the legacy of the Cantina di Negrar - Domini Veneti, founded in 1933, the Pruviniano Collection highlights a genuine cooperative passion. This captivating Lugana DOC originates at the foot of the Veronese hills, where clay-limestone soils of glacial origin nourish 20-30 year old vines trained on pergolas. The grapes, harvested between mid and late September, express the pure mineral essence of the terroir. Under the guidance of oenologists Daniele Accordini and Fabio Zordan, each glass celebrates the profound and unbreakable bond with the land.

The spirit is the same as that of the visionary cooperative founded in 1933 by the seven businessmen from Verona, just as the very same principles guide our work on a daily basis today and inspire every new project: initiative, reciprocity and collaboration.
Generations that work side by side: this is the strength of Cantina Valpolicella Negrar. It is the same strength that has enabled us to stride through history and become the benchmark producer when it comes to Amarone, Ripasso and the technique of Appassimento.
Energy and creativity on the one hand; on the other, the wisdom that comes from the experience of many vintages, leading to a generational renewal that takes place while we work together. Read more
