Description
What kind of wine it is
Cesarini Sforza 1673 Trento Brut Rosé enhances Pinot Noir grapes through the Traditional Method. The glass reveals an antique pink hue and an extremely fine perlage. On the nose, notes of blackberry and blueberry emerge, with a subtle hint of strawberry on the finish. The palate reveals a silky texture, with hints of dog rose, cherry and marzipan. The fruity richness is harmoniously balanced by savouriness and freshness.
Where it comes from
The grapes come from the Cembra Valley, in the mountainous area of Trento. The vines, grown between 450 and 600 metres above sea level, benefit from south and south-west exposures that ensure regular ripening. The terroir features sandy fluvio-glacial deposits, originating from the disintegration of porphyritic rocks. This matrix imparts a distinct savoury character to the wine, enhancing the purity of the fruit.
How it is produced
Production begins with manual harvesting, followed by gentle pressing and fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The prise de mousse, as required by the Traditional Method, demands at least sixty months on the lees in the bottle. This lengthy maturation results in profound aromatic complexity, perfectly integrating the perlage and defining the elegant structure of the sparkling wine.
