Description
What kind of wine it is
Camossi Franciacorta Dosaggio Zero represents a clear expression of the Lombardy region, born from the union of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in a balanced blend. In the glass, it stands out for its straw-yellow colour and a fine, persistent perlage. The bouquet offers floral notes, vibrant mineral hints and fragrant touches of bread crust, introducing a creamy and slender sip.
Where it comes from
This cuvée is born in the heart of Franciacorta, bearing witness to the agricultural vocation of the Camossi winery. The vineyards stretch for about twenty-four hectares across the municipalities of Erbusco, Paratico and Provaglio d’Iseo. The vines draw nourishment from morainic soils, a fundamental pedoclimatic factor that gives the wine a pronounced savouriness and ensures excellent ageing potential, estimated between five and ten years.
How it is produced
Production strictly follows the Traditional Method, complemented by the specific “Solo Uva” technique. This oenological philosophy involves the exclusive use of the grape’s natural sugars at every stage of the sparkling process, with the aim of preserving the expressive integrity of the fruit. The result is a Dosaggio Zero of great precision, free from added sugars, ideal when served at a serving temperature of 6-8 °C.
