Description
What kind of wine it is
Brovia Barolo Brea Vigna Ca’ Mia presents itself with a bright garnet hue. Made from Nebbiolo grapes, it reveals a deep aromatic profile with clear notes of wild berries, rhubarb and tamarind. The evolving bouquet releases hints of powder, cypress wood and fir resin, enhanced by elegant touches of goudron and star anise. On the palate, it is silky and expansive, supported by pronounced acidity and a dense, finely chiselled tannic structure. A glass with remarkable ageing potential, capable of evolving beautifully over time.
Where it comes from
This structured red originates in the municipality of Castiglione Falletto, an area historically renowned for great Piedmontese viticulture. The grapes come from the Brea vineyard, specifically the Ca’ Mia parcel, a plot that imparts the unmistakable characteristics of its soil to the wine. The Brovia winery oversees production with meticulous attention to agronomic detail to enhance the identity of the land. The result is a wine that embodies the quintessence of its terroir of origin, confirming with every sip the great prestige of Barolo.
How it is produced
The vinification process aims to preserve the integrity of the primary aromas and to define a lasting flavour structure, enriched by persistent balsamic and spicy notes. To fully appreciate its complexity, it is recommended to decant for one hour and serve at an optimal temperature between 18 and 20 degrees Celsius. Its aromatic intensity makes it the ideal accompaniment for red meats, game and mature cheeses. It reaches its peak when paired with polenta and bruscitt or with flavourful pork-based dishes. This great Piedmontese wine consistently receives excellent ratings from the most authoritative international critics.

The Winery had been set up as far back as 1863 and is settled in Castiglione Falletto. Paying always attention to the importance of the "terroir", with time and an uncompromising attitude to the selection of the finest vineyards in Langa, the family has been able to acquire great vineyards in the Barolo growing area: Rocche, Villero and Garblèt Sue’ in Castiglione Falletto and Ca’Mia and Brea in Serralunga d’Alba.
Thus, the philosophy of the Winery is to propose great personality Barolos (as with the other wines produced), all made in the same way, but with very specific and clean characteristics, always different among them; Barolos that faithfully reflect the richness of our great Langa vineyards."
