The story of Suavia is the story of a family that has dedicated itself wholly and entirely to the vine and wine, is set in a tiny hamlet nestled, like a precious stone, among the Soave Classico hills, high and green, all cloaked in vines and olive trees. Fittà, the village, with its ancient basalt houses, fountains, small church and sunsets is as good a setting as one could expect.

Here, the Tessari family, has lived and farmed the land since 1800. The story of Suavia, however, began later, in 1982, when Giovanni and Rosetta, aware of the great potential of their land, decided to set up their own vineyard, press their own grapes, make their own wine.

Suavia's is a story of a family all involved in the winery business rooted in the town of Fittà with simple elements: sensitivity, honesty and give the best every day.

Ideal as an aperitif, it accompanies appetizers and vegetable and fish dishes. Excellent with raw fish and sushi. It is a perfect pairing with the typical local cuisine, such as fried small crabs, 'polenta Biancoperla' made of white whole grain corn flour and fish, rice with peas, and stewed cuttlefish.
