Sazerac Company

In the mid-1980s, during the coldest winter ever, a Canadian bartender created, almost by accident, the mixture of whisky and cinnamon liquor that would keep him warm during the long, freezing nights. Initially it remained a secret formula shared among the most experienced bartenders but then it spread throughout North America. In Colorado apres skis it is mixed with hot apple juice or chocolate in a cup, in colleges it is the shot that lights up the evening!
