Tenuta Caseo

Tenuta Caseo is already mentioned in some documents of 1200, in fact it was donated to Gian Galeazzo Visconti for his loyalty demonstrated in a battle. It has come to the present day to its original size. The estate covers 120 hectares, of which 90 are vineyards and the remaining 30 hectares are woodland, natural frame of the vineyards and hunting reserve.

The Caseo estate is unique for sun exposure, all south-southwest, and for the composition of the soil with high clay content, accompanied by good presence of active limestone, perfect for the production of wines of extraordinary elegance such as Pinot Noir.

The vineyards are cultivated in compliance with the directives concerning agriculture with low environmental impact; bred with spurred cordon and classic guyot with strict agronomic practices to maintain low yields and favor the production of high quality grapes.
